DAY 1: MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST
We depart from the Coast for our inland journey via the Mombasa – Nairobi highway. The 120km, 2hr safari journey takes us to the Southern entry point of the Bachuma gate where we stop briefly for refreshments. We commence game viewing drives on entry in the direction of our accommodation base. After check-in, we will freshen up and enjoy a buffet lunch. We relax and adjust to the "jungle environment" while brazing for the afternoon game viewing drive when the wild comes alive after the midday heat lull. We transverse the park, looking out for game, enjoying the scenery and taking in the splendour that the African sunset immenses the jungle in. Our expert safari driver guides us through the tracks returning us to our bases for our evening meals and overnight.
DAY 2: TSAVO EAST/AMBOSELI
An early date with nature !!........................... we will start the day with an early breakfast before setting off for Amboseli with an exit game viewing drive. The final half of the journey is rough………….. this is an African Safari with practical adventure thrown in.
Lunch will be at our accommodation base. We freshen up and relax before venturing out for a short game viewing drive. Game is easily visible here with the domineering Mr. Kilimanjaro offering the ultimate scenic background for amateur and professional views of the roof of Africa.
DAY 3: AMBOSELI/MOMBASA
We will be up early again! – The sunrise and emergence of the mountaintop from the clouds is dramatic. We will marvel at this scenario as we enjoy our breakfast.
We will depart the park with an en-route game viewing drive, bump it out to re-join Nairobi – Mombasa highway and proceed to the coast with a stopover for lunch. We will arrive in the early evening. Drop off at our respective hotels.

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE BY AIR AND ROAD
DAY 1: MOMBASA/NAIROBI/ MASAI MARA
0600hrs Pick up from your hotel and transferred to the Mombasa Airport
0730hrs We depart Mombasa on the 45 Min. scheduled Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi.
0830hrs Arrive Nairobi to be met by our safari vehicle and driver guide. We depart for the Masai Mara game reserve. The drive takes us through the Highlands of the country with views of coffee, tea and pyrethrum plantations. We stopover en-route to photograph the Great Rift Valley. We descend to the floors for the final drive through Masai Country to arrive at our luxury lodge/camp for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at your lodge/camp
DAY 2: MASAI MARA
We spend the whole day exploring the Masai Mara with unlimited game viewing drives. All means and overnight will be at our lodge/camp.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA/NAIROBI/MOMBASA………………..Last day of our safari!
Early morning game viewing drive followed by breakfast. Proceed for mid morning game viewing returning to lodge/camp for an early lunch. Later depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon. Optional short city tour of Nairobi will be conducted. Later transferred to the Nairobi Airport.
1830hrs Depart for Mombasa on Kenya Airways
1930hrs Arrive Mombasa Airport. Met and transferred to your hotel

Appr. 0600hrs. depart from your hotel. The early morning drive takes us through the ferry crossing to the south coast where we stop briefly at Diani for breakfast at the excursions departure point. We later proceed to the historical small fishing village of shimoni driving via coastal settlements with views of palm trees, cashew nuts, mango trees, and rice paddies.
On arrival at the shimoni village, we pay our marine park fees and board the motorized dhows for a cruise in the marine park and the surrounding kisite, Mpunguti Islands.
We will snorkel and marvel at the rich marine life where corals, exotic fish and sea plants are protected. As we sail in the calm waters, we will be on the lookout for the resident dolphins who approach the dhow and with their gymnastics, beckon us to join them for a swimming duel.
At Wasini Island, we will disembark and take a discovery stroll through the Island and its pure Swahili culture also visiting the giants coral garden and the adjacent mangrove swamp forest. Our guide will give us an in depth oration though the tour.
Later, we will settle down for an adventurous barbeque seafood lunch with local Swahili accompaniments. After a short reflective siesta, we board our dhows for the sea trip to the Shimoni jetty.
Time permitting; we visit the Shimoni caves where slaves were "stored" during the old slave trading days before shipment to the Zanzibar slave market.
We bid kwaheri to the village folk and start the journey to our respective hotels.
